ServSafe® Manager Training has become the industry standard in food-safety training and is accepted in almost all U.S. jurisdictions that require employee certification.
The Manager Training program provides food service managers, operators, and owners accurate, up-to-date information on all aspects of handling food, from receiving and storing to preparing and serving.
Upon successful completion of the course and exam, participants receive a Certificate of Completion from ServSafe® and an Ohio Food Protection Card from The Ohio Department of Health.
ServSafe® Food Safety Training can be completed one of two ways: in-person or online.
ServSafe® Food Safety Training is being offered by OSU Extension Pike County (click on flyer below). Food safety training is encouraged and in some cases required by your local health department and Ohio Department of Health as per the Ohio Food Code.
A registration fee of $150 is non-refundable for both the class and exam.
This is a 2 day course that will consist of one full day and one half day and include the exam.
You must attend both days in order to take the exam. The exam is administered at the end of the second day. Lunch is on your own.
The exam will be proctored by OSU Extension staff who will submit the exam answer sheet to the National Restaurant Association to be graded.
Don’t have the time to sit through a Level 2 Food Safety Training? Can’t find one near you? We have the answer!
